Integration of Science and Technology in Primary Curriculum
One of the main issues to be considered in the educational system is education. Education is the result of four elements which are interacting with each other. These four elements are: teaching, learning, structure and curriculum. Curriculum is a plan for action which forms the structure. Another issue is the status of knowledge and the way we can transform it into educational materials. In pos...
متن کاملCollaboration in computer science: a network science approach. Part II
We represent collaboration of authors in computer science papers in terms of both affiliation and collaboration networks and observe how these networks evolved over time since 1960. We investigate the temporal evolution of bibliometric properties, like size of the discipline, productivity of scholars, and collaboration level in papers, as well as of large-scale network properties, like reachabi...
متن کاملIntegration of chaos theory and mathematical models in building simulation : Part II : Conceptual frameworks
a r t i c l e i n f o Current mathematical models in building research have been limited in most studies to linear dynamics systems. A literature review of past studies investigating chaos theory approaches in building simulation models suggests that as a basis chaos model is valid and can handle the increasing complexity of building systems that have dynamic interactions among all the distribu...
متن کاملSpoken Language Generation - Part II
In this paper, we explore two sides to expressive speech synthesis. The first is the identification and simulation of different speakers, the second is the synthesis of emotional speech. The two are then combined, generating expressive characters that provide emotional spoken language. All of this is done within the context of fairy tales, as this is expected to be a particularly suited domain.
متن کاملModelling and Simulation in Materials Science and Engineering
A constitutive model is developed for the elastic response of an anionic polyelectrolyte gel under swelling in water with an arbitrary pH and an arbitrary molar fraction of dissolved monovalent salt. A gel is treated as a three-phase medium consisting of a solid phase (polymer network), solvent (water), and solute (mobile ions). Transport of solvent and solute is thought of as their diffusion t...
